Meet Jonelle Brown, Physical Therapist and Certified Senior Strength Trainer, and Baker Rehab Group’s August 2014 Spotlight on Excellence honoree.
Jonelle is one of those well-rounded, highly skilled therapists who has worked in nearly every physical therapy setting there is over the last 10 years. “Home health is my favorite, though” she says.
Jonelle works primarily in the Baltimore City area, and is certified in the GRAYSTON Technique-a technique that uses instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization to treat acute and chronic injuries.
Whenever she has some free time, Jonelle loves to be outdoors with her husband and 20-month-old son. She might be found at a Orioles’ game, at backyard barbeques, or snowboarding in the winter.
When asked about what she loves most about her job, Jonelle gushed, “I love that I can control my own schedule, see as many/few patients as I want without having to worry about meeting quotas or productivity requirements. I also love that I can work with one patient at a time, to give the personal attention each person deserves! Working for Baker is by far the best job I’ve ever had! I also love the support system with Baker. You guys always have my back!”
